Added 2025-08-08 17:08:06 +0000 UTCI'm a little worried that this chapter is too disjointed, but I know that I'm going to need to do some heavy revisions later on anyway so I'm just powering through so I can get the first draft of the story on paper.
Jack's power level has elevated with each book, and while he's not growing at the Shonen-powerscale of a lot of modern fantasy protagonists, learning to wield Glory is probably going to be the biggest individual jump in power he receives. This chapter includes his first steps on that path, so I'm treading carefully to try to not rush the journey.
