Since the very start of my comic, I've had Arlo being the rowdy one, the partier, the clown, extroverted, brash, fearless (and sometimes very short sighted) with Archer being his guiding light through his growth in the story.
Then I got thinking..... >:3
Let's put a character in a position that's out of their comfort zone and see what happens! That's exactly what I'm doing in the final scene of Volume 2. Without spoilers, this very act will steer the story into places not expected. The night is young, and they've only had 2-3 rounds so far!
I've attached some VERY old images (circa 2014) showing what I thought would be this scene one day. It just goes to show that as you grow as a storyteller, sometimes shifting or even turning something on its head can be less predictable, and far more exciting (and even funny). :)
The rough sketch is from tonight :P
