Unless Archer confesses it to him, I don’t see how Arlo can get that part from the letter alone, since it’s basically “Lockwood’s administration had me killed to keep me from exposing their deadly fog manufacturing to the public, so look after my family and keep them in the dark to protect them and continue investigating discreetly.”
