Oh wow, Ash remembered he can just call up Oak to swap out his Pokemon, I half joke, I mean, I can't blame him for not having Snorlax on his team 24/7, they'd go broke from food bills alone. In the games Claire does act a little bratty after you beat her by making you go through the Dragon's Den to get your badge, but honestly it's not that bad, her ego just took a bit of a hit, but she fully acknowledges you and supports and encourages you fighting the Pokemon League.

2025-09-03 12:04:55 +0000 UTCFun fact about the difference between the anime and the game. In the games, Claire is a lot less mature and actually refuses to give you the badge after you beat her. She sends you to the Dragon's Den arbitrarily to meet with the elders, who then berate her into actually giving you the badge by threatening to tell Lance on her lol. The anime makes it seem like Lance and Claire are almost peers, but in reality, Lance was and is an absolute class above Claire in terms of being a dragon trainer.
