๐จ Big News: P1 SteinWipe AMS Beta is Here! ๐จ
Added 2025-01-02 09:12:57 +0000 UTCAfter countless hours of reverse engineering Bambu's secrete unpublished G-code through painstaking trial and error, Iโm thrilled to share the P1 SteinWipe has been integrated with the AMS startup configuration for the P1 Series (X1C coming soon). This is the next big step in the SteinWipe project! This release wouldnโt have been possible without your amazing support (thank you Azaaram for donating your AMS), so thank you all for being part of this journey!
Whatโs the Beta All About?
This beta release is an exclusive opportunity for my patrons to test out the new AMS functionality and provide valuable feedback.
Key Details:
Files Included: Pre-configured G-code for AMS testing. Just copy the code from the file and paste it into your startup routine in Orca (Bambu Studio not supported yet).
Features to Explore: AMS integration, SteinSwitch options, and optimized filament change and wiper usage.
Known Bugs: None at this time; this is still a work in progress, so please report any rough edges.

2025-01-08 16:27:11 +0000 UTCHey John, were in the final stages of the Beta start code. I've started on the material change section for during the print now. Shouldnt be much longer for the start code full release.

2025-01-08 13:18:15 +0000 UTCI do have some insight into the dynamic leveling. Its been disabled by bambu in firmware and even rolling firmware back as far as we can, there is still no fix. but there is a decent workaround in my code already that can get you a more accurate start layer and save you tons of startup time over the stock code. As long as you do a full level from time to time this code will work. Set the steinswitch in the dynamic probe section to false and use the stock leveling routine. I then probe the Z on the center location of the part and not the center of the bed. This has made a noticeable difference in my testing

2025-01-04 21:09:38 +0000 UTCWell that sucks! Hopefully yours is one of the stock still in before it went OOS. I did manage to rip and tear out parts of your code and have it in the start up G-Code and just ran a test print. Everything looked good, except the dynamic bed testing. Not sure if the print I did was too big so it just did the whole bed or if I mess that one up.

2025-01-04 19:44:59 +0000 UTCAmazing! I hope the install went well! I still have no ship date on my X1C and I just saw Bambu Canada is now showing sold out but I will continue to polish the P1 files AMS files and see what I can apply to the X1C. Then I will send out a few test copies of the code, Ill definitely get in touch! Thanks so much :)

2025-01-04 04:49:03 +0000 UTCInstalled the wiper on my p1 and running your beta release and so far so good. I really like all the improvements to the code it feels 1000% more efficient. Printing petg and the nozzle is ACTUALLY NEVER BEEN SO CLEAN lol. I really like what you did with the bed on purging! It feels like im watching the filament move. Finally some indicator of what's going on inside that Print head. Love it!

2025-01-02 22:01:16 +0000 UTCPerfect! Picking up the screws tonight, do you need additional testers for the X1C?

2025-01-02 21:40:13 +0000 UTCHey Lorenzo, Im not sure how to approach this. Feel free to DM me and we share some ideas. Thanks!

2025-01-02 19:43:28 +0000 UTCPET-G HF is fine, CF is a bonus since it prints so clean. I just wouldnt use PLA since the build chamber can get to 55c

2025-01-02 19:21:37 +0000 UTCI plan on printing and trying this out on my X1 shortly. What do you suggest for printing the part in? PETG-CF good? or do I need to break out my PAHT-CF?

2025-01-02 18:37:35 +0000 UTCThis is Huge! I want to share it on "Bambulab functional 3d printing" Facebook group. Do you have any preferences on the format? Di you want me to wait until we have a more mature version? Let me know Great work. All the best. Lorenzo
