*MOVIE INCLUDED* The Thing (1982) Movie Reaction

Aside from how disgusting the monster looked, I thought the movie was pretty good but I had issues with the lack of morality of certain characters including Macready who literally just killed some of his own crew members and they turned out to NOT be infected by the monster.
Also, some of the actors acted too wooden considering that they're up against a really disgusting and terrifying monster, some of their reactions were a bit underwhelming but I'm not sure if that was the director's choice for them to act in such a way.
What I didn't realise whilst watching was that it seems the first dog that was shown was always infected which was why the Norwegian man was shooting at it but due to the language difference, the main characters didn't understand him.
Overall, whilst this was extremely gross and I don't believe I'd ever rewatch this movie again because of that, it was at least suspenseful and had a great premise to it. It was interesting seeing how more and more paranoid the characters became because of this monster being able to shapeshift into them.

Ah if only I understood Norwegian lol but actually, it's good that I didn't because the dog scene totally shocked me O_O
