I know the Land of Tea arc (Idate) is considered filler, but can someone still convince the Normies to react to it? There are some cool callbacks, and there's even a flashback to one of these episodes in the actual story.

I remember when i was a teen and saw this for the first time and was like "Meh... this looks like a filler" too. Its no BAD but nothing really happens. They where just talking and about nothing REALLY important. But now, seeing you guys thinking "wow, so they will put kids to fight end die and kill and stuff?" I get why those kind of episodes can be cool, they put some people that still dont get those things on the same page with the show. THIS IS NOT A KIDS SHOW

The animation was beyond wonky when important action or plot scenes were not happening however it never bothered me as a kid watching other cartoons with worse art.
