This show is just so well thought out unlike any other shonen show theres a reason naruto is loved globally , its because hes so attractive in the sense that you wanna be like him, or be his friend or know who he is and what makes him so speciall, thats why everyone loves naruto. People can judge the animation or the fillers but at the end of the day its the real fans who know whats up and know what matters and thats the guts to never give up. Naruto is such an inspirational show my god. Gotta clap it up for you my friend . I love you naruto ! And normies !

Loved the reaction to episode 78, Such a fun episode with Naruto finally getting to take back the spotlight, and the crazy kaiju battle with Gamabunta vs. Shukaku! Now you guys see why Gaara was supposed to be the Sand's secret weapon in their assault on the Leaf Village. Too bad 79 seems to be blocked. I guess I'll wait for the revised edit later this week hopefully.

I like that you always include the emotional scenes or flashbacks that others often cut out. You didn’t miss anything, and you guys were so full of energy and excitement it was really great to watch! I’m so glad you enjoyed these two episodes and the new opening! You caught all the nuances and implications of the main cast too. That was a good point you made about how narratively the nine rookies were introduced gradually to cement their importance to the story! I loved how the opening was directed and the panel/background art that resembled manga/graphic novels. You’re finally going to learn about those iconic red and black jackets soon! I can’t wait for ep. 80 - it’s one of my favourites from part 1 of Naruto and marks where the plot really starts to pick up. Thank you for your awesome reactions! And yes definitely consider switching over to Netflix, the captions there are very accurate.

All the scenes I really wanted to see (the exploding thousand years of death lol, Sasuke breaking Naruto’s fall against the tree, Haku flashback - which was such a heartrending callback and shows how every little step of Naruto’s journey stays with him and he learns profoundly even from “enemies” ; A ; , Gamabunta summoning, Gamakichi's funny dialogue, the Shukaku-Gamabunta showdown, Sasuke's shookness, the Nine-Tails transformation, the Konoha counterattack with all the parents! (yeah Chris the women on the roof with the eye patch wolf were Kiba’s mom and sister; and Nahid you were right! Hayate is that Chuunin exam proctor who always coughed and died after learning about the Sound-Sand conspiracy. Yugao, the ANBU girl with the purple hair, wanted to avenge his death there), Sarutobi cutting and taking the soul of Orochimaru’s arms, the Naruto-Gaara split screen, and the transition to young Orochimaru in his eyes as Sarutobi died) were all in there!

The reason Gamakichi sounds like that is because the toad family is modeled after the yakuza in the original Japanese. The western equivalent is the mafia, that’s why gamakichi sounds like a 1920s gangster.

On the topic of spirit animals, even the characters who dont seem to have animals are still kinda linked to animals. Shika-Ino-Cho roughly translates as Deer, Boar, and Butterfly. It's actually why Sakura keeps calling Ino "Ino-pig", it's a pun of her name, but the pun doesnt really translate well.

The split screen between Naruto and Gaara was an awesome touch of subtle storytelling. No dialogue, no inner monologue, no flash backs. Just letting the scene speak for itselft.

The montage sequence that shows all the Konoha shinobi fighting is one of my favourites in the entire show - the song, "Those Who Will Inherit The Will of Fire" as well as Hiruzen's VA elevates it. The jap VA is still better though :).
