Drawing comics a lot actually made me better at freehanding, so my sketches got cleaner, but my coloring suffered a lot, because I wasn't painting or doing studies as regular as I should 😢 for 2025, I want to be able to one big painting like this for each month at least.. Surely, I can stick to one painting a month, right..?Also I've been itching to try 30 days challenge again.. I failed last year, but.. new year, new me, right? If anyone has any good 30 days themed challenge that they want me to try, i'll do it..! I really like doing the OCs themed ones.. 👻 I guess that could be my resolution..
Speaking of new year's resolutions.. 2024 went by in a flash, right?? I'm always saying how thankful I am for all of you for supporting me for so long, but it does truly feel like I wouldn't have made it this far without you guys either.. I've been drawing Cherry Crush for 3 years, but I've drawn comics online for longer, and every time I get a comment saying how my art has helped them through tough times, I also feel a little emotional bc back when I was really struggling, drawing was the only way I could take my mind off my problems, so you guys also helped me get through my own things too ok 😭😭 in like the least parasocial way possible, u guys rly did save my life.. And it's not just me, you've all made friends amongst yourselves and everytime i see people becoming oomfs or even friends irl BECAUSE of my comic I just feel so happy and lucky that I got this little corner on the internet.. You guys made the Patreon fun and I hope I can make it fun as well..!
I know i thank everybody in every single post I make here, but I really mean it everytime , even if it's repetitive 😭😭😭 The Patreon is growing, it's not blowing up or anything, but we are getting new people.. even though I can't reply and like every single comments here like I used to back when i had 50 patrons, please know that I really do appreciate everyone's support, even if it's just one month's pledge, I'm already so grateful that people would spend money to see me draw my ocs kissing bruh 💀💀💀As irony-pilled as I am, I really am sincerely grateful, thank you for making my 2024, here's to another year around the sun! 🙇🙇
