Hallo everynyan, happy Cherry Crush day!
I had a pretty bad fever a couple days ago and I didn’t think I could finish this in time so I made an announcement but I felt really bad that I postponed two weeks in a row like kms can i do anything on time for once dskjfnajk 😭😭😭😭
This comic has a different tone from Cherry Crush bc both of them are amoral characters, Kang especially is different from Crush bc he’s not concerned with who like him or not, how does a true chaotic neutral who just does chaotic things for chaotic sake, fall in love? This was one of the few contentions I had with the Kangshiro comic in the beginning bc there is no immediate attraction like Crush and Cherie felt with each other. The Kangshiro bond was formed because of a need for survival, not a need for companionship like Cherie Crush did. Which is why there was a power imbalance issue that I needed Kang to unlearn if he actually wants to get with Mashiro, it’ll take a while but it’ll get there i promis… I can’t rush it either so I’m sorry if the story feels a little dragged out ..
Kang was born into an environment where he was actively encouraged to be violent just like Crush! But instead of developing a guilty conscience like Colie did, Kang's parents just leaned hard into the chaos and destruction, leaving him with with zero self awareness, which made him very fun to read as a reocurring side character, not so much as a main one, much less a main one in a romance series djkfnsakjn
