To piggyback off of what Devin said: I’m so glad to have stumbled upon your channel. I didn’t know that there was such thoughtful discussion about video games and story telling and it really spoke to me. I love discussing games but I don’t have anyone in my life that I can really have these discussions with. Finding your channel has provided me with a sense of belonging and even though I’m watching through a screen it feels like I get to be in the room with you guys like friends. Thanks for giving people like me a place to hangout and feel at home.

Late to this one, kind of forgot I get access to the exclusive podcast now… been too focused on curling up on the couch every Wednesday to watch the FFXVI episodes, clearly. I also forgot because in my ~17 years of consuming video content from creators on the internet, you guys are the first channel I’ve ever wanted to put my dollars behind because the content is so good. So I’m not really used to exclusive content! I don’t know quite how to express the feeling I had when Mike shared his experience last year. But as some other people have commented on the video, sometimes when you’re watching at home you really feel like you get to know the people you’re watching. Like maybe if you ran into them at a bar, you’d buy them a beer and chat about games as though you have an established friendship. Which is probably weird when you’re on the side of the equation where you know relatively little about the other party or how you fit into their lives because… that’s how content creation works. Like how are you supposed to know that when I can’t sleep, I listen to an episode of the FFVIII analysis (I get too pumped if it’s something like FFX, VIII is the right mix of slightly bonkers story and great commentary from you guys)? All of that to say, I hope you know that you’re always among friends here, what you put out in the world (and I don’t just mean these videos) is immensely valuable, and the people whose lives you’ve touched (whether you’ve known it or not) are better for it. Keep finding adventures, both in games and in the real world.

Edith Finch would be a perfect game for this show, imo.

I know you're concerned with viewer drop-off as episodes go on. (I loved your analysis of Nier: Automata, btw). Have you considered covering shorter games, which are not RPGs, but story-driven: like "Firewatch" or "What Remains of Edith Finch"? You can do a one-and-done and then move on quickly.
