One of the only real differences between this Keyleth and before is her ability to trust that she’s strong. Episode 1 Keyleth still stopped a mountain from falling on them, but when there was a fight she was catatonic and curled up in the fetal position. It’s like this episode she went, “wait a minute… we killed 4 dragons, saved a city from vampires, I got stabbed through the heart with black magic, I went to LITERALLY Hell, I can travel through dimensions, I used a tree to funnel sunlight into a beam to kill a vampire that just punched me like 100ft into a wall… I knew something was wrong with Percy and the smoke… I KNEW Raishan was going to betray us… why do I STILL think I don’t have the experience to speak up to a figurehead?!” It’s always been a self confidence issue and it’s like she ran out of reasons to trick herself into doubt.
