2024-10-19 23:04:37 +0000 UTCTo Bransonβs brief pound puppies story, a life changing moment for me was when I asked my dad his favorite part of Rugrats Go Wild he first said βthe creditsβ and when I disqualified that he said βwhen you thought the wave was going to kill themβ. Parents do so much for us.

2024-10-19 02:25:18 +0000 UTCAs another kid whose first time at a movie theater was for a Pinocchio re-release, which led to me freaking out at the donkey transformation scene and having to leave when Monstro showed up: Joe doesn't need to work in animation. He lived it, baby

2024-10-17 15:24:10 +0000 UTCI saw Space Jam recently for the first time since childhood. Not so much a terrible movie as a completely baffling movie; it feels like a shoe commercial that forgets to advertise the shoe. A monument to the yawning abyss But if you enjoy the animation style of The Snowman I highly recommend Father Christmas by the same team, which I loved as a kid. It's 30 minutes of Santa going on holiday, eating too much and getting drunk, just transgressive enough to make a small child feel like they're watching something adult. And it has the (unique?) distinction that Santa's crack was censored for the American cut
