EARLY ACCESS Friends S2 EP7&8

omggggggg wtf is happening hahaha theres a long disscussion at the end so hope you guys enjoy!
I think more it's familiarity. With my guy friends, most of them are newer, at least post-college and you don't really have that day-to-day hanging out vibe after you get so busy after graduation and out of your 20's so it feels weird starting up all the vulnerability talk. I think that's something you work up to.
With people you know from your teens and at the stage where you're just around your friends more often, it's easier to get into the deeper, more meaningful stuff. Plus, she's like my best friend, so I've told her a lot worse stuff than my love life. LOL

Sometimes men just canโt communicate and be vulnerable unfortunately ๐
most of my girl chats are always raunchy and with soooooo much detail tho hahahah so we are similar in that sense

Speaking of the difference between men and women when talking about being intimate with your partners. I feel like when guys talk around guys, it's very boasting and sometimes raunchy.
But I have a girl best friend, who I've known since high school, and I kind of open with her about more how it felt and what does it all mean when I'm out with someone. I mean--I talk the other stuff too, but I'm less anxious about being vulnerable about what I felt also.

Me and my friends as well. Normally we always roast each other in our daily conversations be it about job, body traits, relationships but still we are cool with each other.. we do very less of these with our female colleagues or friends. We are respectful most of the time

Very valid points from both, agreed. I wanted to also mention that it depends on the person if negative comments are taken as constructive critisism or offensive material. I always try to take that kind of feedback as constructive critisism. If I was a waiter, didn't like being a waiter, and someone told me a con of me is being a waiter, I'd be like "yeah, I def need to get a better job". I wouldn't be like, "that's mean :(".
From my experience, women are much more likely to think that something is mean. Whenever I had group hangouts and my male friends and I would "insult" each other while greeting, our female friends would always be asking us "why are you so mean to each other?". We would always be so perplexed as to why they ask us that, since we are all clearly friends and are not trying to hurt each other.

I feel like they need more scenes alone and more adventures for me to ship them I think! totally agree with you tho both their characters are so funny and entertaining :)
Literally them trying to convince us that chandler needed to drop a few pounds is so criminal ๐ญ

I really enjoy your reactions!! Itโs fine if you donโt ship Ross and Rachel. The majority root for them, but there are plenty who donโt. Or who are just neutral (like me). I personally donโt love them or dislike them as a couple, but I like both of their characters and itโs always entertaining to watch.
I love Chandler and Monica working out together, lol. Itโs insane that they were trying to make out that Chandler needed to lose weight though, especially when he is obviously slim.

i agree! but constructive critisism is very different to what ross said about rachel :( constructive critisism is something you can improve like making noise when drinking tea! but saying rachel is "just a waitress" is not really something she can change since she cant find any other jobs at that moment so it was mean of ross to say that :( especially since he compared it to his and julies job, sort of looking down on her you know

Well I never been in relationship, I had a crush on a girl same like ross since class 9th which didn't happen. After that had few instances with other girls where at last when we were abut to get together somethings came up. But since those were starting period of knowing each other I didn't find any cons.
But they and my friends have sometimes told me about what are my bad qualities and I din't feel bad about them. So for me if someone make a list about my cons, if it isn't with any bad intention to hurt me or being mean I don't mind. I will try to improve what I can and say sorry for which I couldn't. For example one of those female friends told me to try to not noise while drinking tea I listened. She also helped me in many ways to make myself presentable professionally and other places as I was very careless of my clothings and other things before

A couple other things we might do
1. High five our friend
2. Make fun of him for no reason
3. Pretend heโs lying

Iโm like you. I have always shipped Phoebe & Joey together. Not a fan of Rachel & Ross. I also felt it wasnโt fair to Julie

The scene showing the contrast between how men and women discuss stuff like kissing always makes me laugh :D As a man, that scene was 100% accurate. It always goes like that, like
-"I finally slept with my crush!"
-"Nice, bro"
That's the end of it, we never discuss details lmao I was horrified the first time I heard women go into such detail of everything we do.

Yeah guys definitely dont go into details as much as women about their kissing/sexual activities. I once hung out with my cousin and her friends and they talked about boys from their school all night, it was so boring I felt like tearing my ears off hahaha

Yeah would be horrible Iโm glad he didnโt! He just should have broke up with her before he kissed Rachel ๐

David and Jennifer had amazing chemistry, I was happy when they kissed ๐ we're not invested in Julie lol we want Rachel! ๐ fun fact, David and Jennifer actually had crushes on each other in real life but nothing ever happened cause either one of them at least was in a relationship lol
