Slowly states would legalize gay marriage one by one until eventually sometime in the 2010's it was legalized nationwide.

2025-01-12 15:44:59 +0000 UTCThe guy who hired Phoebe to sing for the children is a famous singer called Chris Isaak, he was famous in the 80s and 90s in particular. The joke at the end with his voice being too high (pick a more masculine note) is because he was famous for having one of the highest falsetto singing voices of all time for a man. Also he was well within his right to ask phoebe to stop singing her songs the way she does, he is running a business and he hired her under the presumption that she would sing child appropriate songs, honestly he should have fired her after she came back the next day with still inappropriate songs. When you defended Phoebe in that situation I was genuinely flabbergasted

2025-01-12 15:05:22 +0000 UTC35:20 In our culture there was no Legislation of same sex marriage but there was mention of two same sex people who were together and Transgenders. I was listening to a person who had knowledge about these topics, he said normally people got married to have childrens and so it was not required for homosexual people to be married for being together. Today mostly the situation is like( in India ) if you want to be together or married in same sex you can do it freely just they don't want it to be mentioned all the time. Maybe we just need to be get used to it more. And its now allowed by the Law.
