I love the tiny jokes they added throughout the whole thing there’s soo many and they are hilarious 😂😂 Ahh I didn’t know that song hahaha makes sense then! Yesss Michael j fox was the perfect choice! The unofficial story of how they became friends is that when Marty was 13 he and everyone around town had always heard rumors of the scary and dangerous Doc Brown. But this just made Marty curious and one day he snuck into his lab and was fascinated by all of Doc's experiments and inventions. Doc was delighted to find someone interested in his work and not bothered by the rumors. So Marty becomes Doc's assistant and friend. Huey Lewis and the News did the soundtrack to the film, including the song "The Power of Love". The character at the beginning of the film in the gym that tells Marty his band is too loud is played by Huey Lewis. The name of the mall at the beginning of the movie is Twin Pines Mall. When Marty goes back to 1955, he runs over one of two pine trees on Peabody's farm. When Marty returns to 1985, the mall is now called Lone Pine Mall. Not sure if you caught this, but during the dance Marty is playing "Johnny B Goode" on stage. During the song, a band member makes a phonecall and says "Chuck! It's your cousin, Marvin Berry! You know that new sound you're looking for? Well listen to this!" Chuck Berry wrote Johnny B Goode, the joke being that Marty gives Chuck Berry the idea for the song and sort of invents rock n roll. Michael J Fox was the original choice to play Marty but he wasn't available at first. They shot practically the entire movie with Eric Stoltz as Marty before firing him because things weren't working out. Michael J Fox was then available and they pretty much started from scratch and shot the movie again with him. Good thing they did, because the results were amazing.

I must say you handled the cringe factor of Marty's mom having the hots for Marty fairly well. And it was hard not to fall in love with the eccentric Doc! It was so much fun seeing you on the edge of your seat towards the end there. Will Marty get home? Will the Doc be killed? Will the stupid car start!? One other thing I want to say. I predict that, in the not-so-distant future you will be REALLY happy you watched this movie. You’ll see! 😊Thank you for another enjoyable watch-along!
