And what an ending it is. For a book this long, it sure sprints to a conclusion, and we're here in this bumper-length episode to do our best to pick up all of the threads it leaves hanging. When did Ron and Hermione stop being characters? Why does Wand Lore matter? Who are the Fallen Fifty? Is that too many or too few dead for a big epic battle? Do the renters of Hogsmeade show up? All this and much, much more, including the exasperating Hogwarts Legacy news. WHOM could have PREDICTED such a tragedy!? the point where you were talking about how voldemort is acting like a wow boss and the tank(harry) needs to get back in the center forcibly created the phrase "the boy who had a lot of life points" in my head

2021-03-10 05:24:21 +0000 UTCi don't know if i can find any proof of this anymore, but: the stuff about jkr saying at one point that she based hermione off herself/ron off of an ex/etc is interesting to me, because i remember going on her website (circa... 2010-11? right before pottermore) and seeing her say "i didn't base anyone in harry potter off of any real people, EXCEPT gilderoy lockhart," which i KNOW i remember because i thought that was So Interesting. so. huh
