These guys are arguably the biggest change between the original intro and future iterations. Bart steals their bus stop and they are never seen again after the first season.
It's strange that the bus stop was so easily snatchable, aren't these things usually bolted to the pavement? I don't know myself as I don't personally take the bus, the Patreon money is used each month to hire a full time limo and chauffeur.
I always thought the guy in the middle looked like an older Bart, long before we were shown what older Bart would actually look like. Maybe young Bart was trying to stop old Bart from boarding that bus for a reason, in some weird time travel shenanigans. But probably not.
