The first Albert Brooks character! This feels like a milestone, although he voices characters less than you might think, and Bob is no-one's favourite (which is a shame, because the natural chemistry he has with Homer as he sells him an RV is still a delight to watch.)
Bob appears a couple of times after this episode:

"Bart Gets An F"

"When Flanders Failed" (I got REAL lucky spotting this one.)
and actually gets another line in Season 16's "Mobile Homer", although I was very disappointed he was voiced by Dan for this brief appearance.

The Bob scene from "The Call Of The Simpsons" highlights the joys of natural sounding improvisational dialogue in cartoons, most likely a result of the voice actors being able to record their parts together. Sadly those days are behind us (some actors aren't even in the same country to record their parts these days), but it's a common aspect of most of Brooks' characters, I love it.
