0295 - Flash Baynor
Added 2024-01-08 09:00:02 +0000 UTCIt's four minutes into "Dancin' Homer" that we encounter our first new character. If you're thinking I missed out the Gammels: they were in Homer's Odyssey, one million years ago. The first character we encounter here is our first of many baseball players, Flash Baylor:
He refuses to sign Bart's baseball, then hits on Marge. A full character arc if ever there was one. As his hero's journey is complete, he is never seen again after this episode.
You'll be thrilled to know that he is the only (speaking) baseball player we'll encounter in this episode with a name.
