These stereotypical loud figures from America's favourite pastime must be fun for the voice actors - you can tell Azaria is putting all his showmanship and gusto into this old fella who barely appears:

And look at the oddness of this camera angle - this is a choice that modern animation would steer away from, as digital animation can often lead to flatter staging. It's strange to look at - but that quality is part of what made the show popular in the first place! In the early 1990s world of very stagey multi-camera sitcoms, shots like this would stand out even if this weren't a cartoon.
I don't mean to overplay it, but moments like this are why I love doing this project. I must have seen this guy dozens of times in the last 30 years, but only now am I putting this much thought into deliberate choices made by creative people here. Now, to never think of him again.
