If you have a play driven dog that has a solid fetch teaching anything at a distance is really easy. Ask them to sit, down, etc and throw the ball once they listen as a reward. You will find they naturally go at a distance in anticipation for the ball throw and will quickly do whatever you ask if it means play continues :)

DOING GREAT ON THIS AND SITTING WITH DURATION, INCLUDING MY LEAVING THE ROOM. I WATCHED YOUR 1ST VIDEO ON TRAINING WITH DISTRACTIONS. MY TEENAGER 2 YR OLD, GUS, RUNS AWAY AND WANTS TO HAVE ME CHASE, EVEN THOUGH WE HAVE BLOWN OFF STEAM 1st. WHAT TO DO?
