Our researchers actually came across the ones chosen for examination on an uninhabited beach, rather than on a snow capped mountain, but the surprise was far from unwelcome. It seems that despite being adapted to ice and snow, the Vulpix don't mind heat one bit either. Apparently, they seemed to be enjoying the difficult to freeze sea water while the temperature hovered in triple digits fahrenheit. This report may have to slip by the other research groups quietly to avoid jealousy, because the actual research that took place was a bit more luxurious than most. Laying out on a towel on the beach, enjoying the sunshine and warmth, with an ice type partner in intimate contact to prevent any burns. Granted, the day was more exhausting than relaxing. After all, trying to say no to being pegged by an icicle, to a playful fox that doesn't speak human languages, only works for so long, and we encourage them to be thorough with their partners. While the ice typing of a Vulpix make some sort of protection necessary in other cases, intercourse in a heated environment seemed to balance it out well.
