Zubat!~

In a touch of irony, Zubat, a Pokemon typically considered mundane because of the sheer population size, marks a special occasion for us on the SDex team. This is the first time we've received help from a source outside of our privately selected teams.
Word of our efforts have gotten around to a number of humans, and just as well, other Pokemon have even taken note. A Riolu approached Professor Dawn in a fateful encounter, and had a short conversation about volunteering to help with the project. Although we normally prefer human researchers for the sake of providing information to trainers and breeders, sometimes another Pokemon can be just as effective, if not moreso.
He introduced himself as Lance. In a majority of cases, we offer anonymity to all researchers on this project for whatever reason they may wish, but when offered, Lance didn't seem to care. It may be for the better, since he will be returning for future research instances. For archiving purposes, it is important to note that he is effectively a standard Riolu, although having slightly longer, thicker fur as a result of his adult age, leading to a soft coat and extra fluff. His green eyes are also a unique outlier, likely heritage related.
Unfortunately, we are nowhere near the Sinnoh Pokedex in our current state, so creating the actual entry for Riolu will have to wait until we can reliably supply multiple case studies, rather than this one alone. However, Lance seemed eager to assist us with other Pokemon as well, and to be frank, we can't afford to turn down help.
The next up in National Dex order was Zubat, and he agreed to the task with respectable excitement. So, our team went out, with our new friend alongside them, and got to work.
Finding a Zubat is like looking for hay in a hay stack. Walk into a cave, and more than likely your objective is to avoid them, rather than find them. They tend to create entire colonies at a time, and those colonies are incredibly resistant to inbreeding, meaning they can sometimes grow exponentially into the hundreds, until the sheer amount of Zubat force some to find a new cave to call home.
Rather than searching for a group as is normal protocol, our researchers were actually instructed to try to find as small of an isolated group as possible. Three or four at a time are much more manageable to record than flagging down an entire colony with pheromones.
Of course, our team eventually found success in a dark corner of the cave, and unlike the humans that were there, our Riolu friend actually managed to convince them to stay there and stay quiet, so that they can have each other all to themselves. After some conversation, the team reported the Riolu even befriending them, a welcome addition to the physically-focused study.
Surprisingly, Zubat are far from underwhelming when it comes to intercourse. Their size is a factor, small bodies compared to a human creating the usual difficulty, but the amount of energy they have, the power they have in their wings, means that whenever they're on top, their entire bodies will be put into every single movement. If one ever doesn't enjoy it, it's not because of a lack of effort.
Zubat are also vampiric in nature, meaning they usually feed on blood, but this small hazard is negated by almost any clothing, especially when the activity in question is sex and not actual predator/prey instinct. Lance's fur was also thick enough to deter skin breaking from the occasional love bite.
The Zubat also had plenty of fun with their newfound friend, as Lance was more than eager to both give and receive. Even for a Riolu, Zubat were still a bit small, so the feeling of a comparatively large, smooth, canine shaft sliding in and out of them, with a knot to top it off, made their deal of keeping our team to themselves much, much more rewarding. At least, Lance said so afterwards.
Unfortunately, all good things have to end eventually, and our Riolu ally had to say his farewells to the handful of Zubat he had grown a bit close to. Once returned to our recovery installation, Dawn had to personally translate the report, earning a few blushes, and the occasional tease here and there from the ditto. It was a slight bit more work, but more than worthwhile for someone so willing to help us in this endeavor.
As a note at the end of the report, I'd like another official thanks to Lance for their support, as well as others who've helped keep this project afloat.
