What I’m looking to present at Columbia

I just wanted to give a brief synopsis of what it is I’m actually doing.

In the message I posted above, I think this person properly explains a particular calm I can provide to people‘s state of mind. I’ve Done this for years with music, but what I realized I was also doing was creating a calm that took some stress off people’s immune systems.

And when I applied this to homeless individuals in Washington Square, Park, I realized I was giving them a window of time when they would be able to move out of their perpetual negative state, making it easier for them to accept care from homeless organizations, and most commonly, as presented in the message above, it enabled them to pivot onto a more positive track of life.

THE THING THAT IS MOST MEANINGFUL TO ME:

I realized almost all of these individuals suffered horrible child abuse. When I sit in the park and I listen to the kids playing, it’s hard for me to fathom how anyone could commit such a crime against a child. It often results in the individual sinking into the negative life of misery and homelessness. They can’t enjoy simple things or experience meaningful love or relationships.

I know to many people the phase of life I’m in may seem peculiar. But I have to be honest, I couldn’t be more proud of myself seeing the progress I’ve made to reach an end to the suffering of those who were abused as children.
