Taking a Break

Don't worry, it's only for a week! I was hoping to hold out longer until we're in between issues again, where I usually take about a month off from posting. But during that month, I'm still hard at work on the comic, it's just all prepwork for the upcoming issue (Like writing the story, the dialogue, setting up the scenes).

BUT, I don't think I'm going to finish this issue in time.

I need time off to get some stuff done in RL. My dogs are due for their yearly checkup. My truck needs to be inspected (And might need more repairs as it was in the shop* in February). I have to do my taxes (My CPA retired this year so I'm on my own). All of these need to be done before the end of March.

I'm also a little bit behind on my comic buffer, and I'll be working on that too. I just won't be updating the comic this week. It won't be updated on the public sites either, so you'll still be ahead.

Thanks again for all your support, and you make the comic possible. That is not an exaggeration. Without your patronage, I would not be able to continue working on the comic and paying my bills.

*Since I know Mako is going to want to know what was wrong, lol. It was the Avalanche (I sold the S10 in 2019), and it had a loose battery cable and a cylinder misfire. Because the cylinder misfire code was generic, they think it needed a tune up. So they replaced the plugs and wires. I'm not sure if they did the distributor. But now I need to drive it around a lot and make sure it's fixed and then get it inspected. I've had trouble with it for a couple of years now with an electrical problem and I'm hoping that loose battery cable was it.

I know it needs tires too so I might try to get that taken care of this week too.

Honestly been thinking about selling it and getting a miata, but I love that Avalanche.
