Both Alyn and Addam are Corlys’ bastard children. That’s why Rhaenys was touchy with Alyn. She saw her husband and son’s eyes in Alyn’s eyes. She wants Corlys to acknowledge them to ensure the continuation of their lineage. PLUS, there are a few dragons who need riders 🙌 I don’t think Aegon and Sunfyre are dead, but they are critically injured. You can hear Sunfyre’s raspy breathing and yes, he protect Aegon when they fell.
