The ability to take time off for bereavement has been added with this patch, so I will reflect that in all of my careers once they are updated. I believe this might be a feature of the Life & Death EP since I'm not seeing it as an option for TS4 or my careers even though it has been added to the code for careers.
I have not found any issues with my mods. The updates I have posted include the new mechanic for bereavement that is coming with the EP.
