Sims Sessions NPCs Don't Buy Shirts
Added 2025-02-05 22:57:03 +0000 UTCThere are two modders who have unlocked the Sims Sessions so that you can experience them still. Mercuryfoam has released a Music Festival and Concert Mod and Peco has a simpler Sims Sessions Music Festival UNLOCKER. One change neither of these mods make to the code that is already installed with The Sims 4 is removing the autonomy of non-active household Sims buying & wearing the shirts from the concert. The reason that I want to remove that autonomy is because the interaction will permanently alter the outfit that Sim is wearing when they buy & wear the shirt. I didn't spend time making outfits for a Sim for the game to just undo it because that Sim attended a concert.
The festivals from City Living and High School Years offer the ability to buy & wear clothing, but they don't have the code to push an NPC to do it. This mod alters the interactions for buying & wearing five shirts by removing the static commodity from the interaction, which is what an NPC Sim uses to decide to do an action.
If you don't have one of the mods linked earlier, then the festival will not happen in your game.
