*Also, if you could mix and match any one of the sensei, kunoichi, and two other shinobi, who would you choose? It's actually so hard to only pick 4!*

Lol well he was a genius already so much of his fighting technique is self taught so he would have been fine in that regard as opposed to Hinata whose combat skills were lacking. Tenten is criminally underutilized and in my mind should have been more like Maki Zenin with better writing and more attention. She really got the short end of the stick. Maybe if Guy had another student he actually had to work on instead of a freebie in Neji he would have realized he has to teach other people cool shit too 😤 I guess you can say what also attracts me to the team I picked was all the unrealized potential (SO FAR). Also it could have been interesting to see how a mother figure in Kurenai might have helped influence Neji's worldview. Seeing him be such a loner was kinda sad and yeah that's his character arc but a different energy around him could have set him on a slightly different path earlier. Or not just put all of his part 1 character development on Naruto beating his ass at least. Not that there's any guarantee that would change but these kids just need different or better people paying attention to them idk 😅 where's everyone's parents 🤣

Yeah, I wish Hinata was on a team that pushed her to open up more. I know she communicates with her teammates, but like you said, Guy would have instilled limitless confidence in her lol! But damn, poor Neji got the boot for his younger cousin😂

2024-04-09 18:19:55 +0000 UTCInteresting group! Shikamaru with Hinata and Naruto was actually a group I never considered, but it could actually work really well based off your assessments of each. Shikamaru is also very levelheaded, which I found paired well with Naruto’s… outgoing nature. Hinata will mesh with both, and hopefully feel more confident opening up to Naruto!☺️ But now I’m waiting to see what Shikamaru does in future!!

2024-04-09 18:15:08 +0000 UTCTbh part of me wants to say replace Neji with Hinata in Team Guy because I feel like he could help that girl's confidence and abilities like he did for Lee. I dunno that he did much for Neji besides maybe force level up his stamina dealing with his and Lee's goofy bullshit lol Tenten could use another girl to relate to and coordinate with, and lee would be a little more free to have an open rivalry with Neji. I feel like if explored that could open a lot of interesting doors.

2024-04-07 10:36:44 +0000 UTCSaddest part is I had to quickly check to remember Kurenai’s name… tragically under used. Interesting team, nice choice with Temari. I think finding the best balanced team is the first step, but the problem is they’re so many awesome characters with similar strengths! Personally, I go back and forth constantly on who I would choose! I can’t decide😅

They have Asuma as a sensei who is a total badass AND they are extremely well balanced not only in innate abilities (they have it down pact through generations) but also they have a mastermind strategist, a medical ninja and a plenty of brute force. Come on! Team 7 is cool, but totally dysfunctional as a team. Team 10 all the way!

2024-04-05 16:27:27 +0000 UTCMy mix team would be Sasuke, Neji, Temari, and Kurenai. Balance team of Taijutsu, Ninjutsu, and Genjutsu. Also I would love to see more of Kurenai Sensei, she was barely used in Part one outside of some filler episodes
