Added 2025-04-02 15:24:00 +0000 UTCHey everyone! Here it is - my reaction to season 2 episode 8 of Haikyu!! Well there it is - Tsukki's backstory!!! You can't blame him for feeling disillusioned by the whole thing, but then again, if your whole outlook is gonna be why bother....then why do anything?! I'm really happy he's getting a new perspective thanks to some new friends (also rivals, but why not both lol). It benefits them because picture how much better Karasuno will be with Tsukki giving more effort! It makes the challenge sweeter! Good stuff! Enjoy! ~ MH

2025-04-08 22:12:10 +0000 UTC21:09-22:42 even the best get frustrated and down. Iโm pretty sure I talked about debate team and getting frustrated with a new partner. We both loved it but wouldnโt mesh well at first. I was ready to throw in the towel right before going up against a champion school. My team was not in sync. We did okay but I guess overall the other team werenโt having the best day or missed the mark a bit. After that win, call it a fluke or whatever, we took it and felt great. It just takes one good feeling to bring yourself right back into in. Not the coolest example like owl guys but there you have it. ๐ Hitting a wall for days and then one day being on fire versus some team that are unable to keep up with his spikes and itโs the greatest feeling in the world. That one moment that reminds you why you do this. Itโs a good feeling ๐ ๐ฆ

2025-04-04 11:39:09 +0000 UTCOne character that showed up in this episode was Fukurodaniโs captain, Bokuto. The energetic, silver-haired dude. Donโt have any VA references for you but heโll be popping up a few times in the next few episodes. :) Tsukishimaโs very jaded, because he looked up to his brother - and then found out everything was a big lie - and this is after his brother called him out for lying. Itโs not only feeling like a betrayal, but he got embarrassed in front of his classmates. So now heโs likeโฆ whatโs the point? He started all this because of his brother. The way I would describe it is this: Tsukishima is only looking at the final destination of where the club leads - heโs not getting any satisfaction out of the playing, heโs not getting along well with the teammates due to his attitude - in other words, heโs not enjoying the ride/journey like the others - to him โitโs just a club.โ Which is a foreign concept to the other players who all enjoy not only the game, but each otherโs company as well. Tsukki and Hinata arenโt rivals in just stature, but also personality. Imagine if Hinata had the physical prowess Tsukki did. The club will need to help him realize, weโre not doing this specifically because of the ending we want to get to, thatโs just a small part of it.
