I have come back from my week's break.
Over the week, Author-kun comes over irregularly to share his recent story ideas which revolve around evil pink women. *visibly shudders*
I've been doing a lot of thinking about art this week. I felt like I hit a bottleneck in what I want to do with art and was wondering what new thing could I do in the space of bondage that I haven't done before? I've done pretty much every variation of mechanical and medieval restraints that I can think of so I felt a little out of it.
When I explained this to Author-kun, he came back to the cafe the next day with a literal constellation star map of everything tangentially related to bondage, grouped in clusters and by popularity. Then he starts relaying nutty theories about how they relate to each other; something something about leotards and combatants always go together was what I got out of it, and listening to it, I realized I wanted to go touch the giant nebulas that lay beyond my striking range as well. (sic)
For the next month, Author-kun wants to do writing work on his new series of shorts and continue doing VFX. I want to start testing out my ability to do requests outside of House Delaroux, so I will post a test request anchor separately in the next immediate post. There's time in a week to do a single-piece or two during the month of November in addition to my usual schedule.
