I've binge watched all the Buffy reactions to get caught up and really enjoyed them. Season 1 only has 12 episodes because the show was a mid season replacement for a cancelled show and was given a small budget which really shows sometimes but I think they did pretty well with what they had overall. Sarah Michelle Gellar (SMG in future) said that when she told people she was cast in a mid season replacement show called Buffy the Vampire Slayer they told her she would do better with her next show lol. Anyway loving your reactions, can't wait for the next one.
