2020-12-29 06:42:55 +0000 UTCIn case you didn't remember, Viral's fantasy world is particularly sad because Beastmen cannot reproduce (they're cloned). He's not actually able to have children. Kamina's death is significant and well done. How often do you feel a death like that in a show/movie/book/whatever? I've seen this show like 20+ times, I would guess, and his death never gets easier. But like you pointed out, his life and death is always present in the show from that point on and we do get a sort of closure here. I don't know how the hell they made this show, the pacing is so tight and it feels like you've experienced a lifetime with these characters in only 26 episodes. Everything gets nicely wrapped up in the next episode.

2020-12-27 16:07:49 +0000 UTCTo add to this, if you don't feel like reacting to the whole movies the final boss fights are the major changes, especially in the 2nd one where the scale becomes crazy. The only other changes are that most of the side characters still lived (probably to save time idk) and only Kitan had died.

This episode definitely caught me off guard and it goes to show that you really can’t expect anything in this show. Thanks for watching this amazing piece of fiction and I can’t wait for the final episode!

2020-12-26 20:23:31 +0000 UTCHears kaminas voice again Me: ”I’m not crying...your crying.....Baka” also we finally hear “liberate me from hell” the operatic piece that will finish out the series. can’t wait for the next episode also there are 2 Gurren lagann movies the were made as well both with updated visuals and added scenes but with a much condensed story. I think they are awesome and are definitely worth a look if you are able thanks again!
