Update Time! Posting Schedule, What's Next, Etc.

Hello hello all! I hope yall are doing well, cuz HOLY HECK AM I COLD RIGHT NOW.

For those of you who have been around for a while, you may know that I've been trying to test out whether this writing thing is feasible for a more full-time gig. The past few months have been doing just that -- testing my limits, exploring new stories, learning how to self-publish, the whole shebang. And it's been going ok! It's not some kinda Cinderella story, but I'm still enjoying it and getting more done than I really knew I could. It's been 100% worth it so far.

However, if I want to keep that up, I've gotta keep on grindin'! So here's the plan moving forward:

Posting Schedule Changes:

Armageddon: Now that the Armageddon launch is well and truly complete, I'll be taking down posting a little bit at a time until we're at 3-4 chapters per week. HOWEVER, for the next few weeks,  I will keep putting out 5-6 chapters a week to extend the $10 tier backlog to ~15 chapters. So woo!

Alone Once More: No changes here! We vibin' at 3 chappies a week. I'm really comfortable with that one and feel like I've got a good schedule going.

New Projects

"NOW WAIT A MINUTE," I can already hear you thinking across the country/globe. "You just launched a new story! Shouldn't you focus on finishing those first? What's this business about new projects?!"

Well, hold your horses there. I'm not writing any new stories -- I'm collaborating on them!

You may not know this, but I was an editor for a while before I ever started writing. I've actually got more experience with that than writing itself. So what I'm looking to do is be an editor / helping hand for another project or two with a friend of mine!

We've got two projects in the works. One of them is about Rome, and it's... honestly pretty dumb. I love it. The other one is more serious, though I'll keep it under wraps until we're further along.

So keep an eye out for those. When we got some stuff ready, it'll go up for the Professor of Protein members. Hopefully this makes sense as more of a "I'm really investing in writing long-term" thing and not a "I intend to start twenty stories and then drop them all" thing. Cuz uh, I ain't dropping these things. I have not and will not start a single story that I can't finish.

Publishing

Publishing for Alone Once More is still in progress! I'm working on self publishing it, and it's making its way through edits pretty well. Hopefully I'll be able to help it through faster with the new schedule changes. I don't have an ETA on when it'll come out yet, but I do have plans for paperback, ebook, and audiobook. I'll keep yall in the loop as cool stuff comes.

As for Armageddon, I dunno where that one's gonna go yet! I'll see about options once we're a little further down the line. I'm in no rush, as we've still got a good amount of story to go here.

So that's where we're at right now! We'll see how things go. I've got a bit of runway left before I should think about looking for a real job again. But even if it does come to that, then it won't mean the death / hiatus of any of these stories. At most there would be a posting schedule adjustment, which I'll give advance warning about. Like I said, I haven't started anything I can't finish.

And of course, thank you thank you THANK YOU all for your support. It means an incredible amount. Like, I cannot overstate how cool it is that I've not only made something that people like, but that you like enough to give me money for it. It just... kinda blows my mind. So for all yall, you really have my sincerest thanks. I'll do my best to keep the good times coming!
