The actress was in the middle of a wrongful death suit over a car accident she had in Vegas. Playing a grim reaper and dealing with that was starting to take a toll. It also didn't help that the executives at MGM complained that she wasn't pretty enough and blamed the show runner being gay for the casting. It was a stupid claim she is a model and an actress but those were factors in her leaving the show.
