Crediting and Not Crediting

I've gotten a few complaints every once in a while on people being credited on my supporter page when they don't want to be.
I understand that for some people they prefer their anonymity.
I'd like to know your opinion and thoughts. Is my current system of updating the supporter credits every two weeks or so with all new subscribers undesirable?
And of course this is a callout as well that if you've been credited and you don't want to be, give me a private massage and I'll get you off it.
