Weekly Roundup 238 - New Enemy Type - Grabber - Week 6 - New Build Next Week!

Hi everyone!

It's been a busy two weeks working on the new enemy type! I was hoping I could get enough done to release a build but I couldn't quite get over the line for releasing it today.

But it's not far away. I expect to get a build out the middle of next week!

1: What's New?

The last two weeks has shaped up the build so that the new enemy type can work well in-game and with other objects and enemies. The full gameplay logic is there from foaming, detection, capture, peril, and freedom.

We also have the grabber peril event and the enemy model in the gallery with log entries. No 2D lore entries yet as I'll need to do a bunch of entries with Lady-Dino as the concept artist.

2: What's Next?

The main thing I'm doing over the next few days before releasing is as much quality control for the game as I can. Get the build shaped up as strong as possible for a release middle of next week.

After that I'd like to spend about two weeks working on further bug fixing. a few people have detected a few consistent bugs I'll try to address.

After that in August I'd like to start work on a new Animation Pack. I haven't made one this year and it'll be good to make a fun and interesting animation set based on a new character. I have some fun ideas!
