Types of Romanceable
Added 2017-06-21 00:05:06 +0000 UTCSome people seem confused, or maybe haven't read the romance guides in game, so some think that some characters are important to finishing the game, when they are not.
- Essential/Main - In chapter, 1 this is Quinn, Ava, & Grace, this are non failable, or require much in the way of completed romance.
- Optional - In chapter 1, this is Sophia, optional can be failable, but there is no failable one in chapter 1. This can often be harder to get, since it either requires an optional quest, money to get, or maybe a bit of item searching, so they’re often harder. Although while can have an impact on the main quest, they are not needed.
- Unlockable - In chapter 1, this is Aliss, plus two more. Unlockable are gain by doing other relationships, usually optional ones, these are always failable, and some can die or disappear from the game forever, so be careful of these ones. They often have not much impact on the game.
- Harem - Harem characters will be very rare in the game, with only three currently planned in the entire game, but basically what they are, are instead of romancing a single character, you’re romancing a bunch at once, in all the cases they’re a small settlement of females only. None will be appearing in chapter 1, and they’ll either be unlockable or optional.
- Companions - There are three type of companions, story companion, temporary companion, and optional companion. Temporary companions are like Quinn, which usually only join you for part of the story, and are linked to a optional or main character. Optional companions work similar to a normal character, with affection, dates, and stuff like that. But story companions romance is link to the progression of the story, so their dates will unlock at different parts of the game. In chapter one there is story companion, only a temporary and optional one.
