Dev Post #1

Gonna try and give dev posts, to tell you were I'm at every week. I'll try to get them out on Friday, but I have a bad memory for these things so we'll see what happens.

For the coming update, I plan to try and once again improve the combat system, make it more interesting and add a few more things.

For instant a new defensive system, making the game more challenging and interesting. You may not even notice it to be honest, but it'll come with some new skill that reduce the defence and the like, so more skills!

Add jar system. Basically you can store liquids in a special jar that can be bought from the casino shop, and can with them do skills them. Like for now on, after this update, Lily can no longer do her own heal move without a jar of spring water, but as a bonus who can now use it out of combat. There will be other liquids too, with different skills to them, providing useful new effects.

I'll try and add a lot more skills with unique effects to them and mechanics as I can find on the internet.

Make random dungeons. Now for nearly every dungeon there will be two other versions of it, so not every visit will be the same.

Optional dungeon bosses. Everytime you clear a dungeon, a boss may appear which you can choice to fight or not. Backing off will not mean you fail the dungeon, but you will lose out on some special items. Also dungeon bosses are probably way tougher than their minions.

More interesting gear. I'll try and add some more special gear, as well as add craft-able gear which you can get the resources from say, defeating a dungeon boss, or one of the random dungeons.

I'll also try and get the Sophia scene in there too, but I have a lot on my plate with all this.

Got any suggests? Please tell me in the comments or on discord.

While I would like to say yes, the breathing thing is part of a plugin, so I'm not sure I can make it toggle able, but will look into it.

Would it be possible to put in an option to stop enemy motion in combat? I noticed that the enemies seemed to flex in combat (like they're breathing), which is cool, but it can slow things down performance-wise (it happens every now and again for me). And maybe an option to turn off the time-of-day screen filters? And I would just like to say, the idea for this game is the best one I never knew I wanted. Lily and the others (but especially Lily) are very interesting characters that I look forward to learning more about.
