Hello, friends!

I hope you all are doing well. I just wanted to drop you guys a little line. This may be a little long winded, but I will TL;DR at the end. Time changes everything, not least of all life. This has been without question the most transformative year of my life. I crossed into a chapter that is uncharted territory for me.

You don't have to worry about the details really, it honestly doesn't matter. What matter is what that means for the future.

So, what does it mean?

I am not ignorant to the fact that I have been placed into a very, very privileged position. I have been enjoying my time with you guys. Enjoying my time growing my platform, enjoying my time drawing and just enjoying. I'm grateful. I'm so, so grateful.

The gratitude is so palpable that it almost hurts. I feel like I owe everything to the people that have helped me get here, which is no small part you guys. So, let's talk about you guys. Why are you here? Why would you be so gracious as to offer me your hard earned money, love and support here and wherever else? I can only imagine, hard as it is for me to believe, that you enjoy my art. You enjoy it so much, that you want to be part of the process and I am genuinely moved by the sentiment. Let me tell you now, you who is reading this, this art would not be here without you and you are absolutely a MAJOR part of the process. So, as they say, I believe it is time to say for real, "the time has come".

So... It's time. I want to move forward. I want to be a professional. I want to post art that truly has the power to move the world, or at least the people who see it. I want to be good. What exactly does that mean, though? Well, the requests aren't changing so if you want to see something specific that will always be there so have no fear. However, I will be investing myself in improvement and growth. I'm not going to explicitly move away from fan art per se, but for the most part that is largely done for the sake of reach and growth as a platform.

So here's the SHORT(er lol) version:

I want to do this forever if I can. I've always been an artist, and I've always loved art, but never in my life have I been given a true path forward to pursue that as a future. I owe it all to you guys, and to my wonderful family. I consider you guys to be as much a part of this as I am. Going forward, I am going to be focusing on improvements. Learning new things and improving what I have. I would also like to stream my art. What kind of platforms do you guys prefer if you're interested in that?

I won't burden you guys with my own personal burdens, but I imagine I've just decided to take steps that will make life very hard for myself. At least for awhile until I can find more ways to offer sufficient value to keep bread on my table every day. That being said, you guys are the only reason it's even possible to even consider taking this first step in the first place lol. So take comfort in the fact that if nothing else I can put some canned chicken and water on my table thanks to you guys!

Ultimately, all of this mess of words is just a desperate attempt for me to say thank you. Thank you so much.

I hope you're ready to see some real peak. I hope you'll bear with my as I focus my efforts on truly becoming better at what I do <3
