Saturday Update Sept 14

These updates always sneak up on me, the week goes by so fast!!

Mushroom Oasis day 3 came out on the 7th and I had my video done on the 9th! I pulled an all nighter for that one LOL! I was super excited to see what would happen next and was not disappointed! I am so impressed by the art and writing of this game, you’ll notice the almost watercolor feel the art has and of course the little details in the writing when you’re being controlled by Mychael or the purple text mushrooms. I really hope the next updates have Mychael becoming a part of Our lives!

I’m so glad that video did so well! When a video gets a lot of views little fireworks appear on my youtube studio page, sometimes those little fireworks are the highlight of the upload♥

I’m trying an experiment with a bunch of my youtube shorts. When you upload a video you have a little box that makes it so it publishes to my subscribers’ inboxes, and I heard that you can attract new people to your channel if you actually click off that box. Now why wouldn’t I want my subscribers to know about something I posted? Well, according to something I’ve heard, when it goes out to my subscribers it stays in a kind of bubble, or little pond, the algorithm “tests” it with my subscribers and the more people like or interact with it the more it’s shown. However, by not releasing it just to subscribers it tests the video on the entirety of youtube, like dropping a rock in a bigger ocean. I’ve tested this with a few videos but I want to try it with about 8 Mushroom Oasis shorts that I’ve made. Who knows, maybe we’ll make some new friends? There is always hope. Mostly I’ve made these short videos for my tiktok where I upload snips of my videos anyway.

I still have to record part 2 of My Sweet housemate but I’ve finished editing a good chunk of part 2 already. I also want to record a bit more of Teacher’s Pet, the Gojo dating game because I want to try and keep it in one video (that I’ll have to edit to heck for youtube cuz it’s SPICY). I still need to record more Demon’s Delight too, I’m kinda scared as to what I’ll be in for.

So far I have a bunch of videos scheduled to give me time to record. A developer reached out to me with their game called “Water Mage” and I finished Act 1 of that which is 4 chapters and 3 videos. It’s a really intriguing story!

After that I’ve got 2 videos on Sacrarium Pario scheduled but I need to record more of that game too. Hopefully that will be done by the time the two videos are scheduled.

And I haven’t forgotten about “Do Not Take this Cat Home”, I do want to get back into that and find more ways this cat can scare me. Speaking of scary games, I was thinking of trying some actual horror games for October, but me being such a scaredy cat, I wouldn’t know where to start.

One brand new game that’s definitely on my list is called “Your guardian angel” by Kuru, it looks super cool! And I’ve also come across a game called “Black Box LSS the merciful sinner” by Fif, another game that attracted me with only a cool looking guy, I don’t even know if it’s a VN.

BUT, I want to try and get the stuff already in progress done before I go chasing after another game like a dog chasing after a car LOL. I think as far as long games go, once I finish Bewitching Sinners I want to move onto Crimson Spires.

One more idea I had in mind, I was talking with my husband about other games we could replay together and I think I want to see what he thinks of John Doe or Lurking for Love next~♫
