saturday update October 26

Saturday always still seems to creep up on me! I almost wasn’t ready again haha!

It’s been a slow kind of week, I’ve mostly been trying to edit the videos I’ve already recorded because recording takes a lot of energy. 

By now the censored version of “Wh4t 1 W0uldn’t D0” should be up on the channel and a few adult patrons have seen the uncensored version. WHOO WHEE! That game was intense wasn’t it?? I thought Strade in BTD shook me, Daniel is on a whole nother level! I’ll have to put extra locks on my husband house cuz he ain’t invited! And even funnier, right after recording that, I played the game “Murder Misery” by Headlocker (the developer of Monster x Mediator) and who should show up but DANIEL himself!? I know I must have seen him in the previews but I completely forgot!

I’ve finally finished editing my playthrough of the game “Give Evil a face” and was hesitant about it because it is VERY graphic, with very detailed dead bodies and very insane characters. Yet now that I’ve played “Wh4t 1 W0uldn’t D0” this game feels slightly less frightening. That video also will be heavily censored for youtube with a full uncensored version on my adult patreon scheduled for October 28th. Please heed the warnings in that game as well. There’s no eroticness at all, but I don’t want anyone caught off guard by how detailed a smashed noggin looks.

The games I want to try and record next are “bad manners”, “killer chat”, “rot in paradise”, “monster in my office”, and the “Homicipher” demo which I’m really nervous about cuz it looks like japanese horror, which i love but is usually the scariest to me! There’s also a cute looking game called “You stole my heart”, and I would like to try the classic game “Dead Plates” since I still know nothing about it!

In old lady Espoir news, I’ve got a bunch of tomatoes from my garden! I’ve been eating them with homemade cheese burgers!

I’ve also started watching a bunch of anime again thanks to a very good friend! I think thanks to them I’ve been in more of a mood to draw.

Honestly drawing used to be my favorite thing to do until I fell deep into depression, drawing was what helped me get through a lot of tough times, especially when I started making my game Gentille Alouette. But lately I’ve been so busy with youtube and adulting stuff that even when I have time to draw I can only draw gag things or memes, not the big grand art pieces I used to. That does make me a little sad but slowly I’ve been trying to draw something every other day. You can’t be too hard on yourself when your muse isn’t musing. Your body could be telling you that this is your time to rest. It’s one of the things holding up PPB:Reboot, I have a lot of art to draw although the programming is done, and I still would like to make a game about Jafari but I want to get better at drawing fat body types!

This is probably a big spoiler but you guys are my lovely patrons and I appreciate you so much! I’ve had this idea for a comical visual novel where you’re stalked by an obsessed admirer but in the first ending the player dies (killed either comically or accidentally, I haven’t decided how horror-ish I’d make it) but instead of starting a new game, the player is actually still dead and a (possibly hot) grim reaper gives you the chance to get revenge on the stalker who killed you! I haven’t thought of anything more than this concept, not even what the characters would look like or even what program I’d use to make it. But if and when it comes out, you guys will already know the deal hehe!

AH One more thing! I still want to make a video about the top “whatever” actually scary Visual novel characters I’ve encountered and narrowed it down to 10! I would like to get that done for Halloween but I don’t know if I can, I’ll try but it would be like an essay video which is usually harder to edit.
