saturday update November 2

I hope everyone had a safe and fun Halloween, however you celebrate it! I wore my spooky dress, lit some candles in mason jars,  and passed out candy. It was so HOT for October, never in my life did I think I’d see 80 degree weather on Halloween!

I’m so glad my Top 11 scariest VN dude did well! I didn’t want it to be too long but also to be a kind of mini clip show on my channel. It was so fun going back into my old videos and seeing how I’ve improved! I love making lists like this. I don’t want to make a “best of” list at all because all games are great in their own way and these are indie developers, just regular people doing this for fun, and I don’t want anyone feeling like their work isn’t enough. Though I’m sure there are other lists I could make, like the character that have made me the most actual mad (Austin from lurking for love, Teo from 14 days with you, your coworker from Pretty boy panic, etc)

So for the games that I’ve recorded, in the middle of editing, or are excited to play…

JUST as I finished editing the DEMO for the game Homicipher the FULL GAME gets released! Homicipher is a game where the monster men are speaking a language you don’t understand and you slowly fill up a dictionary of words to understand them. Like a monster trying to teach may point to something and you type in what you think they are saying to you. I really enjoyed this game and at first was going to ignore it because it’s the kind of Japanese style horror that really scares me. However, some of the monsters are actual sweethearts and actually kinda attractive! So I immediately bought the full game to play it later. 

I’ve started a very cool (and slightly gory) game called Pygmalion’s Folly, it’s about a mad scientist who is experimenting on your body with flesh magic, however he is incredibly handsome and you might be able to get him to fall in love with you (or destroy God, whichever comes first). It’s a murder sim where you have stats to manage and can die in many ways. I’ve also bought the full paid version which has NSFW scenes and most importantly a WALKTHROUGH, because there’s about 30 endings! Of course the unedited version will be on my adult patreon.

I’m in the middle of editing the game “Rot in Paradise”, it’s very short but has a cool art style and scary premise! Eventually I’ll play their other game “Dead Plates”!

OOH Big fun news! You know the game Predator’s Syndrome? I did some voice lines for a character in that game and it’s gotten a HUGE UPDATE!!!

You know Sacrarium Pario with the two boyfriend living gods? That’s got an update too!!

Plus there’s still a ton of games from the halloween Jam (i even some a few from LAST YEAR).

I’m pretty booked with games to play so I’ll be pretty busy, but I also do take some days where I relax or clean and don’t spend so much time in front of a screen. Don’t forget to take a moment to just ground yourself in the present, to enjoy where you are and all the good things in your life. And even if there are no good things, all bad things come to an end at some point. The only thing that never changes is that everything changes.
