Saturday update November 23

I hope everyone had a wonderful and restful week!

I've taken the braids out of my hair to let it rest for a bit and soon I'll be wearing my wig in videos again, picture featured above, if not the off chance I can wrangle my real hair into a way I like.

I've been taking a kind of break/hiatus in the last week, editing what I've recorded from the week before and avoiding recording so I can rest. But now it's time to get back to work so to speak!

Today I just finished recording part one of the game Pulsatio Cordis which is a game I played the demo of nearly 2 years ago and one I am very excited to play! The first video, part 1 is one full playthrough (nearly 3 hours!), and part 2 will be all the alternate choices and possibly the bad ends. This game did not disappoint and I dare say that the yandere here could almost make it to my list of characters that actually scare me! Both the MC and the yandere are so well written and at times I actually felt wrong about giving into him (as you know I love going for the sappiest end). 

This game also seems to have about SEVEN endings plus a true end most likely after all the others are gotten! I assume this video might be a three part but I've been trying to fit more into as few videos as possible. RIP to every YouTuber who played “the kid at the back”! That video took me forever to record and edit and some people have videos way longer than mine turned out! But I've been trying to avoid leaving videos on cliff hangers as much as possible and trying to only do multiple parts for full games.

Speaking of long demos, I started playing the update of Predators Syndrome, another demo I played a while ago that got a huge update. I don't know where the demo ends yet and I believe I've already recorded about 4 hours! There are a LOT of characters and even more hard work put into this game! It also felt so surreal to talk to my own voice! I got giddy a few times.♫

I've recorded part 3 of Homicipher and walkthroughs for this game feel a little hard to follow since you have to start at certain scenes and chapters. But the next video spends more time with Mr Machete and Mr Silver hair. There's also a large important chunk of the game in the mysterious Chapter 5! I thought I had gotten to all the chapters but there's a whole chunk of the game to explore! I haven't played through it yet, the recording was already getting long so I stopped when chapter 5 gets unlocked, that will be for part 4!

As for games I want to play in the future, for the Patreon I really want to go back to Rire in Boyfriend to death 1 and get all his endings, and I also want to return to Jak in the game Lovers Trophy (but maybe not Wade the teeth guy, he's a meanie). There's also Akki’s route in the wholesome game Cute demon crashers.

For now I want to focus a little more on the games I've started like Pygmalion's folly Homicipher, and trying to finish off Bewitching sinners so I can move onto Crimson Spires. There's a game Epikslion told me about weeks ago called “where he is King” and while I adore the character's design, I think it's pushing the limits on what I can stand with gore. It's VERY gory and I want to play it, but this is one of those times where I think I might actually be too much for me (especially with how much “what i wouldn’t do” and “Give evil a face” actually rustled my jimmies).

In unrelated news, I’ve been listening to audiobooks and sleep story youtubers to help me fall asleep almost every night! Whenever I start over thinking and need to get to bed, I turn on one and start to focus on the story instead.

Alice through the looking glass - I’ve been listening to this one almost every night! If you’ve only seen movies about Alice in wonderland, there’s a LOT that’s been changed from the original books which are WAY weirder, especially this one!

Alice in wonderland with rain sounds - this is meant for sleeping and another of my favorites. In fact, this channel has a TON of good stories and is how i “read” Jekyl and Hyde and Winnie the pooh

Vampire Love story - a very sweet and gentle sleep story about a girl and a vampire, very cushy and soft, maybe even too sweet, the only downside is that it’s in parts and not one long video so you’d have to listen to it as a playlist

Harry potter book 1 - this is a new one i just finished, i never really got into the harry potter books or had time to read them but this guy here does such an amazing job reading it! His voices are phenomenal (and his voice for Snape is SO deep♫) This is not meant as a sleep story as some parts get loud but it’s a great way to listen to the book
