My First Released Solo Game Project
Added 2019-05-03 13:32:40 +0000 UTCHey everyone,
I've just released my very first finished solo game project (as opposed to working in a team)! I figured some of you might be interested. It's very different from what you know me for though, so I completely understand if you're not ;)
It's a mobile puzzle game for Android called Puzzle Ninja Star. I was working on it on/off for a VERY long time now. I made it with Java and OpenGL/GLSL instead of using game engines similar to Unity, which is probably the main reason why it took me so long lol. It's also the reason why there's no support for iOS (yet?). I decided to take this approach for educational purposes and just because of personal interest in coding a game engine myself. You can read more about the game itself on the Google Play page: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=xaero.rotatenjump
The game isn't free but I chose the lowest price that Google lets you set. I think it's much better than using ingame ads. I've scheduled a sale, which will start tomorrow (4th to 11th May, inclusive), which will make the game free for a limited time. I would start it right now but Google didn't let me do it :S
Since you people already support me by donating, I can send you the .apk file for free even today. Just private message me if you're interested.
Anyways, thanks for reading and, as always, thanks for your continuous support!

Thanks! That's actually one of the things that I'm the most nervous about. I'm not an artist or anything. You made me feel a bit better about it and I really appreciate it :)
