Sneak-peek: Reworking Map Shading WIP

Hey everyone,

I'm currently working on something that I wanted to address for a long time. And this something is map shading (both minimap and world map). The current shading works mostly the same way as in the regular vanilla maps. It gets the job done, even though my implementation admittedly does not handle snowy mountains too well, which needs a fix either way. I also feel like it doesn't give the map enough depth for my liking. I decided to rewrite it and began by shading the map as if it was a 3D model with surface normals. Although the calculation is simplified a lot because the light direction is static and very "simple", but the end result should be as accurate.
You can see the new (darker) and the old (brighter) shading in the screenshots. Please note that the new shading is not final. I'm still going to tweak the shadow brightness / colors to find a good balance. I want it to look better, not just different. I don't think it's fully there yet.
There will be an option for the old shading mode, if you still want to use it! Feel free to let me know what you think.

Thank you very much for your support! I really appreciate it.
