Sneak-peek: Minimap Frame Style Options

Here is something that I'm going to include in the next update: style options for the minimap frame. The default textured gray frame isn't going anywhere but you will now get built-in options for customizing the frame. I'm adding 2 new styles, which are "Colored" and "Colored Thin". Of course, you could always achieve something similar by creating a resource pack but this significantly simplifies the process. I feel like a minimalist frame is something a lot of people would prefer over the default look. In addition, you can also customize all 3 styles with a resource pack, and rename them as well.
While I'm working on small improvements for the minimap, I'm also starting to work on UI improvements for the world map mod. I want to significantly simplify and improve the user experience for first-time users of the mod, which is something I feel is currently a problem. A lot of the features of the mod are difficult to access to the point where the users do not know that they even exist. I want to solve that issue while keeping the interface clean. I'll post more about this pretty soon.
