loved this episode so much i went and watched the movie. i think the final scene actually made sense, and wasn't so much a breaking of the curse as it was the curse actively releasing the two people it wasn't interested in. one of the themes of the movie seems to be debts and payments. chaka's escape incurred a debt, and that debt was paid when he drowned, and perhaps with the debt now settled, the curse allowed rafa and awa to go free.

2024-01-20 13:14:51 +0000 UTCIt could also be a licensed Airsoft Model. When Chaka draws it the first time you can see a small black plastic tag in front of the trigger. This is a trigger lock on the airsoft model, but I'm not sure if the firearm itself also comes with this feature.
