Troy and I had been talking about doing a shoot and had this shoot planned but ended up doing a shoot the week before as well when someone else pulled out at the last minute and Troy volunteered.
But on this shoot, the original plan, we headed off down to a place called Bundeena on the coast about a 45 minute drive away and walked to a little discreet unofficial nude beach where we got down to shooting. Now Troy and I had been mates for a while at this point and I know he doesn't like the sand... so I waited til right at the end of the shoot to mention that I wanted him in the sand. The sand on this beach also happens to be VERY coarse sand, essentially made up of broken shells. Oops. We had to SCRUB to get the sand off him. The behind the scenes video is here.
